First I must state how much I <3 The Mars Volta.
Second, post some of the weirdest lyrics to a song you've seen and by whom. Just some fun things guys I'll start....
All the children go grinding their jaws
The sweet smell of their toothless canals
And the damn she will break, make an ocean from this lake
As they siphon off all of our blood
And when Miranda sang
Everyone turned away
Used to the noose the obey |

The first song that every struck me as entirely wired when I was but a young ladd....
Yellow matter custard, dripping from a dead dog's eye.
Crabalocker fishwife, pornographic priestess,
Boy, you been a naughty girl you let your knickers down.
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen.
I am the walrus, goo goo g'joob.
The Beatles - I Am The Walrus |

heh yeah i just bought a new cd couple days ago and found a really weird song to me
Its a violent pornography
Choking chicks and sodomy
the kinda sh*t you get on your tv
Everybody, everybody, everbody livin' now
everybody, everybody, everybody sucks
Everybody, everybody, everbody livin' now
Everybody, everybody, everybody f*cks
Everybody, everybody, everbody livin' now
Everybody, everybody, everbody dies
Everybody, everybody, everbody livin' now
Everybody, everybody, everbody cries
on that same cd another weird song
My c*ck iis much bigger than yours
my c*ck can walk right though the door
with a feeling so pure
it's got you screaming back for
Cool, in denial
We're the cruel regulators smoking
cigaro, cigaro, cigar
yeah some weird stuff, brand new cd too just came out like last week |

A little Motograter for your apocolyptic amusement:
New plague, getting paid, everyone is guilty
Taxes on the lotto, waters gotten filthy
Psychos, weirdos, percocet and morphine
Little imperfections cost us all, cost us all
I saw a missile filled with frightened people
Crashing down, into a ball of flames
Something tells me this is almost over
Someone tell them it's almost over
Slave camps, last dance, billion dollar mishaps
Bombshells, nitro, anything that you can throw
Housewives, onion rings, AOL and crashing planes
Second-rate therapy, everybody's crazy
I saw a black cloud above the forest
Wiping clean till nothing else remained
Something tells me it's almost over
Someone tell them it's almost over
----------------------------------------------------------------
And a little silliness to balance it out:
I don't know just what to do
He's got a grudge against Frank Perdue
He's clucking a lot, but he's not saying anything
I plucked him once--why pluck him again?--CHORUS
Colonel Sanders wants to cook his goose
but Psycho Chicken's still on the loose
("Hmm, a little chickie--" BWAAK!! "OHH!!")
They caught him down in Ohio
They cut off his head and they put him in the oven
They put him in a box right next to a roll
Put some coleslaw around his legs and someone took him home
Ate him for lunch and he tasted real fine ("BURP!")
but the guy who ate him, he just lost his mind!
Psycho Chicken--what the ?
Bwak bwak bwak bwaaak bwak bwak bwak bwak bwaaak bwak
Better run run run run run run run away |

I couldn't think of anything really weird. At The Drive In has some really weird lyrics tho, they sound similar to Mars Volta, but I think they've been around since the late 80s. Pink Floyd of course has crazy lyrics, but here's one of the most violent songs I've ever heard.
Opeth - Blackwater
Confessor
Of the tragedies in man
Lurking in the core of us all
The last dying call for the everlost
Brief encounters, bleeding pain
Lepers coiled neath the trees
Dying men in bewildered soliloquys
Perversions bloom round the bend
Seekers, lost in their quest
Ghosts of friends frolic
under the waning moon
It is the year of death
Wielding his instruments
Stealth sovereign reaper
Touching us with ease
Infecting the roots in an instant
Burning crop of disease
I am just a spectator
An advocate documenting the loss
Fluttering with conceit
This doesn't concern me yet
Still far from the knell
Taunting their bereavement
Mob round the dead
Point fingers at the details
Probing vomits for more
Caught in unbridled suspense
We have all lost it now
Catching the flakes of dismay
Born the travesty of man
Regular pulse midst pandemonium
You're plucked to the mass
Parched with thirst for the wicked
Sick liaisons raised this monumental mark
The sun sets forever over Blackwater park |

one of my favs is Ozzy : Goodbye to Romance
Yesterday has been and gone
Tomorrow will I find the sun or will it rain
Everybody's having fun except me I'm the lonely one
I live in shame
I say goodbye to romance
Goodbye to friends, I tell you
Goodbye to all the past
I guess that we'll meet, we'll meet in the end
I've been the king, I've been the clown
Now broken wings can't hold me down
I'm free again
The jester with a broken crown
It won't be me this time around to love in vain
I say goodbye to romance
Goodbye to friends, I tell you
Goodbye to all the past
I guess that we'll meet, we'll meet in the end
And I feel the time is right although I know
That you just might say to me
What ya gonna do...what ya gonna do
But I have to take this chance
Goodbye to friends and true romance
And to all of you...and to all of you
I say goodbye to romance
Goodbye to friends, I tell you
Goodbye to all the past
I guess that we'll meet, we'll meet in the end
And the weather's lookin fine and I think the sun will shine again
And I feel I've cleared my mind all the past is left behind again |

The Mars Volta was formed when At The Drive in broke up |

Lol whoa, I had no idea. I got one of their records as a gift a while back when One Armed Scissor was a big hit, and it turned out i liked it more than I expected. It's no wonder though, the style is so similar. I just bought the acoustic Sevendust album today, so good. |
