I downloaded an entire new install of a tfc server just to test this out for you...cause I'm good like that...
Anyway...no such folder was created in the install that I could see. I checked all directories. Where exactly did this folder creates itself? Give the exact directory structure. |

did u try renaming the tfc_lv to tfc? u could always check vital files for directories in which things are saved and if it says TeamFortressClassic/tfc_lv, just take the lv out.
Ive never seen it either, ive i had seen it before, i would gladly help u out, but i havent, sorry |

(off topic:) wow you guys are really friendly.. ty. i could just smack that guy that closed my topic upside the head.. anways.
in all my main tfc folders, its been created.
D:\HLServer\tfc_lv
D:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\knhorn@excite.com\Team Fortress Classic\tfc_lv
D:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\knhorn@excite.com\Dedicated Server\tfc_lv
iv renistalled all 3 (even steam) 2 times now and its doing the same thing. do you think it could be the account im useing? because, im useing the same account for the standalone and my steam account. and p.s the folder only creates itself with the program is run for the first time, just like when you install the dedicated server, you run it the first time and it creates the dedicated server folder (steam). |

If you have either of these registry keys (with ANY value in them):
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\\Source\Settings\User Token 2
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\\Source\Settings\User Token 3
...then low violence mode is enabled. If you wish to disable low violence, you will need to delete the aforementioned registry keys, then you will be able to delete the "_lv" folders. |
Hit start...run, then type "regedit".
Careful now, you're in the windows registry...screwing with stuff in here you're not familiar with can serious damage your system. Navigate to the key mentioned (just like a folder in explorer). In the right window pane...delete the two keys mentioned by right clicking...and selecting "delete". |

Oh...you won't have any problem at all playing the game. But, you won't see blood decals or gibs because of the "low violence" setting. That was this settings intention. |
