To whom it may concern -
My headset has crapped out...
So I will have no mic until I can replace it...

Mine crapped out a while ago also. I had a small mic I use for voice recognition on my laptop. I taped it to my headset and have been using that. I've been too lazy to get a new one yet... |

Unfortunately, it wasnt the mic that crapped out, it was the headphones...
When I plug them in, sound is SEVERELY decreased in volume, and is distorted, echoes, and does some all around weird crap... I know its not my sound card, because my speakers work fine... And I know its not my speaker jack, because the headphones act the same on 1 other computer, and a radio.......
Death to Labtec....
Only had it since Christmas...

I have those, u get used to it, just dont get it cause the lil gear thing that keeps the mic in place wears out, ive had mines since christmas and i cant keep it by my mouth anymore, it always sinks to my vocal chords/chin |

I've had my headset for nearly 3 years. Plantronics, only way to go. So I see that most of you use them as earphones as well when playing. I just plug the mic jack in and use them as a mic and listen to the game through my speakers. But anyway Plantronics, best in the business. |
