He was easily one of THE best players I've ever seen...not that I've played with the l337est players on a regular basis. Being that good at this game involves more than just movement and aiming skills. He understood all the subtleties of the game...he was smart as well as skilled.
Unless "he who must not be named" had an IP change, I haven't seen his server up for ages...not that I care. |

Miles contacted me via e-mail...as I expected he would. As I've said, we've been e-friends for quite a while. His explanation of what happened was satisfactory to me...and I hope you will all trust my judgement when I tell you it was sincere and acceptable to me.
Miles has helped me catch those that use these things in the past (I eluded to that earlier in this thread) cause he knows how they work. Well, there's really only one way to know how these things work. I remember one night on a conc map, he asked me if he could show me how a chop-hop script worked. Because of him showing me, I can pick out others that use it now also. Was he cheating at that time? Yes, but I had allowed him to in order to learn more about it.
Does Miles need to hack? Surely not. Did he use a hack on our server? Clearly he did. Did I suggest to him that these things should be tested or tried out on a private lan server in the future? Yes, most definitely.
He told me he probably won't be playing tfc anymore anyway. But if he ever does, it would be nice to have a server to play on. I'd like him to be able to play on ours. I don't expect anyone to agree with me...just understand that he'll be given another chance just like many others have.
