i had my car weighed in at a local truck stop on their scales. came in at 3547lbs thats with a 3/4 tank of gas and no weight reduction. scoobies weigh in at around 3300 lbs (stock), but he has his car pretty much stripped out, no carpet, no back seats, and the trunk is completely empty.
basically he is just making more hp than i am. All i have is intake and exhaust as far as performance mods go. Things will change soon though, i have myNX MAF kit on order. Im gonna start with a 100 shot, and after i get my long tubes, !cats, colder plugs and a new fuel pump i will bump it up to a 150 shot.
as far as vettes go.. weight isnt everything. I' can beat 97-99 vettes, and 00-04 autos are pretty much even. I raced a CTS-V and beat him by about 1 1/2 cars from a roll. |

ive joined team focus norcal but thats beside the point, i just want to make it look like MINE right now. ooh, i got the diamond hyper black turn signal markers in today. ill post pics eventually somewhere. |

i am waiting for a sunny day to get a good pic of the 97 silver vet with 17,000 miles on it. (just like new)  but we are putting the bad tires on it soon b/c we dont wanna mess up the good ones burning out on the free way entrance ramps  |

Driver (me) passanger seat. 3 people in normal back seats. 1 Laying across the other three. 3 of the 6 of us were pool jumping at the time, so they had their shirts off. Its about as gay as it could get without becoming....gay?
It was fun though, had to break out the minivan though (faster drop offs and extracts.) |
