Actually, I learned how to script rotating brushes, ala 'real' style doors
Don't forget my l33t terrain abilities!
Yeah, that's hand-made in quake 3 |

so I beat this game last monday
the single player, while short, was very immersive, on par with that of Half Life 2.
had to change my pants a few times; moreso than with Doom3 suprisingly.
Very cool assortment of weapons in this game. Like, awesome variety of ways to blow the s**t out of your enemies. Also, this game is soooo pretty. I caught myself making sweet sweet pixel love to my monitor several times when this game was running. |

I cant beleve this is out already. Too many games, too little money. I just finished F.E.A.R. and that was really hard to play without the lights on. Wonder how Quake compares? |

FEAR is scarier than Quake 4, but I wouldn't play either in the dark |

The ONLY way to play F.E.A.R and get the full effect is with no lights, no background TV or radio noise or anything, and a window slightly cracked so it gets kinda cold and you get a breeze every now and then. Helps if its like 2 AM too. |

I tend to block out background noise when I play games(I've been yelled at waaayy too many times for my headset being too loud, which it wasn't, because I block out sounds) but no background noise would help for the phones you find everywhere. |
