If it's done with a zoom from across the map...yes. Any weapon other than the sniper rifle...should not be zoomed. Kinda takes all the skill right out of it. 
I use it when sniping for close battle. If you have a soldier in your face...there's no harm in using it. |

Sure...there are the uber snipers that can do this. I'm referring to the average guy. I consider myself to be an average sniper. It's a weapon in the game...it has a purpose and a use. A soldier at full strength...it won't help you. A soldier who's weak...AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR.  |

| yea like Howling said..sniper is gay in general..it rarely helps the team..usualy jus has sniper wars with other snipers on the other team?..gey...but nothing is worse than AR...do what i do..use a nade or nail gun |
