If you could be a little more specific as to what "weird" is...perhaps someone could help.
RS...that happened to mine also, just gave out one day. No doubt dropping it 1000 times was probably the cause. The inner workings of a mic are such that repeated banging like that will cause them to fail. |

Weird thing is with mine is that i still records, but at a volume about 1/50th of what it should be. This one is a Logitech Premium Headset (whatever the latest one is) i got it less than a year ago :/
I really dont want to have to replace it. Ive spent close to 100bucks on headsets the last 2 years :/ thats just not something i want to be spending money on |

Make sure your headset isn't muted(down on the cord it's self, and in the volume control pannel) |

Ok, since this is already about mic's, I'll post my problem here. My mic has quit working in steam, it works everywhere else, but not anything having to do with STEAM, anyone have any ideas on what to do? |

voice_enabled 1
check the steam voice console ... every time that it updates, the voice output gets reset to like 25% |

Move your mic AWAY from the speakers. That should do something. Lower the volume of the speakers and/or reduce the volume of your mic. Both should reduce feedback. |

Or use headphones and not speakers. I hate listening to steve talk on his mic and hearing my voice coming out of his speakers |
