www.Pandora.com
This site was brought to my attention the other day and I am just getting to try it out. Its pretty cool. You just start out by typing in a favorite band and it makes up a station with similar bands you might like. Try it out is RAD! |

Im really glad you posted this. I used to DL lots of music via limewire. However, a few days ago, my friends GF told me she had to pay $6000 out of court to settle. I thought they had caught her with 1000s of songs. Nope, 32 from the same artist. The orginal suite was like $200,000. I got rid of Limewire and have been wondering how to listen to new music. Thanks CC. |

musicmatch JUKEBOX and Yahoo!Music do the same thing I couldn't tell you which is better though....
Probally Yahoo!Music because you get to rate artists, albums, and songs seperately. You can love an artist/band, but hate one song by that artist/band, rate the song so and you never hear it again, yet have a high rating on the artist/band and still hear their music. It'll also throw in new stuff for you to rate, by way of "others who like this group/song also like:" |

musicmatch is the gayest shittiest piece of trash software next to netscape(nutscrape), realplayer, and AOL.
yahoo music, launchcast, and live365 are fine being a web based player but they show constant ads.
www.winamp.comfor the "pwnt them all" music player!.
it has everything you need: music player, library, internet radio and tv, visual effects affected by music.. go to the site and hit the winamp tour link. |

winamp is very good for music, but for video, forget it, there are much better things out there.
Try VLC video player, it even has the ability to stream video across a network. |

I am rather impressed w/ this site. It's got a lot of music that I like, much that I would have a hard time finding otherwise. |
