this coming friday my school is having the anual winter ball, and in the 4 years ive been in my school this is the first actual school dance im goin to (i didnt even go to the junior prom Embarassed

) ive heard mixed stories about the ball, and its in a diff place than it has been the past few years, so im not sure what to expect from it.

ill write here after how it was, but until then, anyone have some dance stories? some crazy things happen on these nights Razz

lol, first and only dance I went to was senior prom.. and I was sorta entrapped into that in the first place. there not all that great. they mostly play rap for people to "dance" to then some slower songs and hardly any rock. there not a great experience, there ok though.

went to homecoming in my sernior year....waste of a night

1 good song the entire night and my friend left me alone Sad

school dances suck if your school is mostly filled with minorities (not being rescist)

Senior prom at my school, from what i've heard from former seniors, is just going out before, being at the dance like 1 hr, going to a party and getting drunk, possibly laid, before going off to a hotel/house/staying at the party passed out and getting laid.

I have been to many school dances in my life time. Middle school dances i used to go with my friends and we would just mosh it up right in the middle of the floor. I also had a tendancy to bounce off of the walls as hard as i could till I fell down hurting. It was the only way i knew of to pick up chicks. Very Happy

I guess it worked beacuse I went to a few dances with girls. Good Idea

My freshman year of High School I was on the Hockey team so me and a bunch of the hockey players went to the dance wasted. I had fun crowd surfing and moshing it up as well. Plus a few ladies were lucky enough to dance with me. I think there was some heavy petting going on in the parking lot as well. Very Happy

I never went to my Senior prom instead i went to another schools prom with my buddies girlfriend's friend. Was a fun time from what i remeber of it. Very Happy

But the after party was much funner if you know what I mean. Good Idea

Dances are a waste of time ...

Pre marriage many moons ago....this chick I was steady dating from another school...we went to HER senior prom; got the tux, dress, tickets, rental car (Mustang GT) was standing in line to go inside and get seats and she decided she didnt want to go...no questions asked...so to pacify me she decides to convince me to pull off out on some empty field obscured by trees for some well....you know...anyhow....problem was it had been raining and the car got stuck in the mud about a good 200 yards or so off road....not good as back then there were no cell phones...and the closest place to place a call was a gas station about 5 miles up the regular road...all this at about 12:00am...didnt set too well with her folks or mine....ah the memories...never got to score with her though... Bad Idea

Dang, we didn't have Balls....well...that sounded bad...er...never mind. Laughing

At my senior prom, the genius in charge decides to have a talent show. Drunk teachers doing impersonations...ugh. I was in a band at the time with two other seniors...so we got up and did a little jam. Cool

We came in second to the drunk Elvis impersonator. Confused

I thought my prom was going to be a sure thing. I struck out (afterword), oh well.

hmmmm....lets see.....senior prom......drank before prom.....got denied entrance.........a group of us went to another friends prom...........our "crowd" became larger.......went to a hotel after that prom.........drank some more..........went to the beach........started a fire and drank some more.........me and girl went to secluded part of beach........and at that point I didn't do much drinking Good Idea

The prom is for some people, and not for others. Do whats best for you and what will give you the most joy out of that occasion, whether that means going to a prom or another type of gathering.
