Most problems people have had with the desktop are talked about (and solved) in this 10+ page long thread. It is a lot of information to read, but I'm sure you will learn something new.  Good luck. (Read the readme and FubleBass's tutorial).
My current desktop (written in XML):

it requiers some heavy but not that hard editing of one or 2 files. and it comes with simple instructions. if you need help than holla at me, im pretty good with it |
