Hey y'all. So, one of the things I didn't realize that would happen with me moving is that I would be offline for a bit. I was playing TFC until the very last moments of my move (almost until I finally unplugged my machine). Now I am 500 miles away from my old home in Oakland, searching for a new home in San Diego. I'm staying at a friend's house at the moment. Unfortunately, he has no telephone line nor cable, thus no internet. I'm currently at the library, on my laptop. I'm sooooo discombobulated right now. I might try to jump on tfc for a sec to say hi, but that's about it. Although I do have TFC hooked up on my laptop, I only have a mousepad on my laptop, so forget trying to really play.
I don't know when I will be back online completly, I do know that it may be a little while . I look forward to having my life in a little more order and having the ability to be a more active participant in our community. Wish me luck. I'm out job hunting and househunting after I leave the library. |

Hey Nuck, is the Trolley more that $1.25 now?
I used to have fun in SD with no car, just a bike and a handfull of change for the trolley. Lot's of sun, lot's of excercise. If I lived there still I probally would never have played HL or any mods. I was outside to much.
Also I forget the name and the address, but there is a good Temp Labor place in downtown SD. Payed pretty well when I was there. That should help you till you get a real job.
Also, when I was there the Zoo, and just about everything in Balboa park was hiring all the time, and payed well. The Wild Animal Park pays well too.
All the Bars and Resturaunts in the Gas Lamp/Historical district are good bets if you hit every one with an app your sure to get one.
I could never get a job at Seaside Village, no one was ever hiring down there. Don't waste your time.
When I was the there, the Wild Animal Park was the best outing...tourists who didn't know about it clogged the Zoo and made the Zoo an unpleasent place to visit...lol. Yet to work there pays enough to out weigh the unpleasent, smelly tourists. |

You call what youve been doing the last 5 years as PLAYING? I always attributed it to you having no thumb or something diabolical like that.
Anyway, mucho <3 and GL with the house/job Nucky, and hurry back!!! |
