Vatican City is a landlocked country within Itally.
It is a city, but also that city makes up the whole country.
The Vatican Cathedral is within.
I havn'e been to school in a while and I barely passed geography and flunked history but that much I remember. |

The Vatican is where the New Pope is.
Wheither the Vatican,where the pope stays, is named after the City or the City is named after the Cathedral, I don't know.
I bet that the VATICAN is the name of the building where the pope stays.
I miss John Paul II, Why would someone shoot the most awesome pope? |

Actually, Spider Man is right.
I did some research for school and I stumbled upon the answer.
The Vatican is a City-State with The Vatican Cathedral in it, which is where the Pope lives.
