So Im sitting here and listening to one of my favorite bands and started to think about how much they have changed my life over the years and have had some sort of impact on me and caused me to be the person i am today. There has been a few bands that have shaped me through the years and I figured others might have some as well. So here is my list. There might be more but I cant think of them at the moment. No particular order.
Red Hot Chilli Peppers
H2O
Run DMC
Sublime
Snapcase
Wu-Tang Clan
Each one of these bands hold importance to me, be it sitting in my bed listening to one of their albums while trying to cope with life or something that has happened to me. Bad days, good days and those in between. |

For me it's chevelle, trapt, and nirvana...mainly chevelle though. Pete Loeffler (vocals, guitarist, writes lyrics) of chevelle writes such great lyrics and he mainly writes them from things thats happened in his life and when something heavy is going on, it all comes out on paper. Reason is cause i can realte to the stuff he writes about. I've even wrote lyrics myself to cope w/ stuff too, but those bands' music has made me more calm and just overall a better person. Anyway if ya wanna see some of the lyrics he writes, look for urself http://www.azlyrics.com/c/chevelle.html |

Incubus has helped me deal with some of the worst times I've gone through in the past few months. Having days where you don't want to wake up the next day can really get to you, but sometimes just sitting outside and listening to Incubus makes me feel like I can perservere through whatever BS is getting me down. |
