So I'm making a map. I think you will enjoy it when it's completed.
It's called Space Fight. There will be two ships (as soon as I complete one and copy/paste it). Yo make your way to the enemie's bridge, and cut the security laser power. Then you go get the keycard from behind those lasers (unsure yet where then keycard will reside). You then take the keycard to the enemy engine room to start the self destruct, then enemy team dies, and round is reset. Sort of a cross between the playstyles of Shutdown_l or Security_r plus Rock2.
So far Ive completed the "3-Forward" (remember 10-Forward from Star Trek?) respawn, the emergency ladder between decks, and the on-board gym. The will be plenty of Crew and Guest Quarterts to sneak a tele into.
I'm making it out of small floor and wall sections with 3d trim work to make it look pretty.
Two glass-covered bridges and some built-in teleporters will connect the ships. Each team will have a "Teleporter Control" room with several telporters in it. One will goto the enemy bridge, one out side the enemy keycard room, one to the enemy engine room, one to the enemy gym.
That's about it so far. I'm not ready to post any screenies yey, but more info will come soon! |

I think there is a map somewhat like that with the ships and all.I belive it even has a key and a self destruct thing to. Ill have to look into it a bit more. I know Chips and I have played it once or twice on the main. |

There is some space-themed rock2 (with lasers) map out there, (can't remember the name for the life of me, but its fun as hell) but there's also lots of desert themed a/d maps too |

there are a few engi jump maps already
i fully support the idea of a spy-only knife-only DM map. anyone who makes this will be my hero. |

How about a normal CTF map with a central arena for spy mulch that is a no-build zone so I can't interrupt your mulching by building and SG? |

yes cc there is one like this, we have played it on the main a couple of times. you get the card from what looks like the helm of the ship, then go down to the button and then the ship closes off and kills everyone inside. |

Yea we actually played it last night on the main. I belive it is called spacedout or something like that. |

Mine will have lasers gaurding the card. you go to the "Bridge" to shut off the lasers, get the card from the computer core and take it to the engine room to set the self destruct. I've decided to makes entrance to enemy ship by teleporter only, and you will arrive in a random crew/guest quarter. |

there are lasers guarding the entrance to the key room on spacedout too, however they aren't completely blocking it, they just make it extremely convienent to get in and out. |

dunno about knife only spy dm, but I do have a spy dm map in the works |
