There are two ways I can think of to handle the signed books for those who want one.

One will cost a little more(due to shipping costs), the other will be slightly cheaper. I grant you, it's a matter of a couple of bucks, and I won't benefit either way(except for the fact that you've bought the book to begin with).

For those following this thread, you know the main details.
http://www.lunaticrage.com/drippy/forum.php?a=vt&f=4&t=5792
I don't know what the shipping charges will be, nor do I have anything to do with them. But, as you all know, I have made the offer to sign anyones copy if they want me to. All I ask is that you cover shipping.

I'm basicly trying to find out how many people would prefer to have me order their copy, sign it, and send it to them...opposed to the people who would rather order it themselves and pay for (what amounts to) 3 shipping charges(publisher/store to them, them to me, me to them).

To me, it doesn't really matter. I'll only be making a little bit on the book sale, not the shipping. Signing them will only take a few minutes, and I have no problem doing that. I'm just curious what everyone thinks.

Considering that it's price is a bit higher than I had anticipated....I'm willing to go a little extra on my end, to make it cheaper for you guys.

Thanks for your input.

I might be interested. It looks very Carlinesque, so I'd probably love it. Do you know when it will be published or what the price is?

FlyMoto- That's cool. I don't expect everyone to buy it just because it was written by someone you (more or less) know. I do appreciate the offer to pass around word to anyone who might be interested, though. Please, even if you don't pick up a copy, spreading word around is more than helpfull to me! Thanks!

Showtime- Yes, kinda...and yes. It should be available in a couple of weeks at the Authorhouse website's bookstore. I'm checking the website daily...so as soon as I see it listed as "Now Available", I'll let everyone know. It will be available online at other retail stores websites a few weeks after it's available on the Authorhouse website. It will be available to physical stores within a month and 1/2(I doubt they will carry any in store, with this being my first book...but you could order it through them). As for the price...there are actually two prices. The "Direct" price(if you order it through Authorhouse), and the "Retail" price(if you order it from anyone else).
Direct price is $10.99
Retail price is $14.59

Chaos- I'm working on the details for the signing(as judged by the poll)...but rest assured, I'll sign them. Good Idea
