I just experianced one of the most ****ed up days in my life. Ive witness two tragedies in one day, through my own eyes as they occured. I was no bystander i was there at that time at that place.
Fourht period, in computers the teacher asked us to build a car out of legos and make it go a certain distance. I was working with one of my girl firends and out of no where the girl i was working with starts shaking, than her eyelids tilt back, she starts foaming and than faints. I never experianced or seen anoyone do this, but i knew she exparianced a seizure. The ****ed up think was that it just came out of nowhere, i was shitting my pants. The abulance came and everything.
Than that image haunted me through the day, i felt like s**t. So afterschool i walk home with my friend adam (MaskedFather in TFC) and we talk about the s**t that happend. Before we go and slip roads to go home, we always stop at a corner and talk about s**t. So we stopped at the corner talking about E3 and s**t, than out of nowhere i see a kid come run onto the road, and get hit by a ****ing van. He did a cartwheel in the air, and landed on his knees. All i could do is ****ing laugh , but s**t i called 911. Man it was ****ing insane this is one crazy ****ing day. |

Thats more annoying that curse words.
Yeah, the worst I've had happen is a science teacher had a heartattack and died during his lecture. I wasnt schooling but i was working in the school in the room next to him. I heard the screams and ran over. He was passed out cold. God bless that man. |

I doubt it, and she'll be fine, she might have a slight concussion, but that's only if she hit her head on the floor. The only real danger from seizures is choking from getting spit piled up and then it going into your lungs because you can't control your muscles. |

You're young...at least from my perspective. I've helped a few people through seisures in my day. Make em comfortable and watch over them...no need to panic generally.
You'll see more and more things like this as you go through life. Learn from the experience...and you'll be stronger for it and more able to help and understand the situation next time you recognise it.
Not everyone comes across these experiences...but live long enough, and you will. I've seen people killed in car/motorcycle accidents, I've seen someone shot in a robbery...and I've seen 9/11; all up close and personal...with my own eyes. You learn from it all...I did.
Glad to hear everyone was okay...this time. |

I know how you feel about the seizure Nirv. It happened to me one time as well. I went to this bar to grab a drink and a bite to eat for lunch(also to get out of the rain) at first i was the only person in the bar besides the bartender. A couple minutes goes by and these 2 girls walk in the door. They both sit down and order some drinks. They look at the menu and stuff like that......Then wham out of nowhere one of the girls tilts forward slamms her head off the bar and falls back while convulsing on the ground. I looked over at the bartender then back at the girl as she was shaking on the ground. Turns out she was having a seizure and her friend never even knew of her condition. After that happened she got up and sat back down at the bar as both me and the bartender just looked at each other stunned. I mean what do you say to something like that? |

Ugg, I had a bad exp with a seizure. My family was at Bushe Gardens, and some of us were coming off a ride. Suddenly, right in front of me, this dude falls out of a door and lands on his back. I rush over to help, then I notice its my step-dad.
Im trained (or was) in First-aid/CPR, but when its someone you know, you kinda hesitate. Some people called for help, and the "medic" came over, and turned him on his back (Which you DONT ****ing do, because the person can swallow their tongue or choke on something they throw up). I was about to say something when another park guest correted the medic.
They dont know what caused it, he had another about a year later, but he's fine.
The women who gave the me and my siblings water had more facial hair then the oldest of us. |

Damn Nirv.
That's one for the ages.
Go home, get some hot food, and treat yourself out for the next few days.
Soon, it'll become not but a reminent memory.
BTW, pray that a day like this will never come again. |
