I've heard nothing but good feedback for this movie. I really have to go see it. |

I wouldn't closely call it the best movie ever, but it was very entertaining. A sequel set 10 years past the first is a rather intresting concept to pull off. Working in Jay's real life battle with drug addiction was a nice additive too. There was a touch of popculture added in which will mike the movie slightly time senesitive, but things like dancing from silence of the lambs was awesome (lots of UGHHH from the immature audience I sat with who don't get the referrence) and the reference to Dogma and Jay & Silent Bob strike back tie this little fake jersey universe to a close. Very wholesome, happy ending.

“I was fine with it as long as I didn’t have to show my ass,” Mewes said of the nearly full frontal scene. “That was my first thing. I was like, ‘Am I going to be covered up? Am I going to have a robe on?’ I didn’t mind tucking and showing the front, but I didn’t want to have my pasty, white ass shown. I’m not too comfortable with my ass.” |
