I'm think of major in something that I think is called emergancy medicine response. It's basicly to be a Medic/Paramedic. So if you know anyone that happens to be in that profession, can you ask them how they like the job? Im trying to learn more about it. Thanks. |

My dad's a flight doc and was an EMT for a while, so was my mom, and my dad's friend is an EMT atm so take your pic, I'm sure they wouldn't mind telling you all about it. So give me your e-mail and I'll have one of them e-mail them so you can get more then just how they like their job. |

My 6th grade teacher from WAY back was a paramedic. One of the hardest experiences he went through, was when there were more injured people than could fit in the ambulance. They had to decide who to take or who to leave. I don't remember if they ended up taking those who would most likely survive, or if they ended up taking the most severely wounded. Regardless, making very tough decisions like that either way would be tough as hell, and probably heart wrenching. |

You shouldn't worry about it, cause I'm just going to run your ass over with the ambulance. |

I have a couple of friends who are EMT's and love it. At school, I saw an ad where you can actually volunteer to start out and they'll train you in everything. Then after you're finished, they will later on hire you. |

I'm going to take a course like that, just not in school, and idk if they give you a job, but they train you. Either way I think I'll love it, so I'm taking it. |

Why am I having visions of SB taking some of those meds on his own, at random? |

Oxycodine is ****ing amazing, but, as a medical professional, I would advise against taking it without a doctors consent. Just hope you get some if you happen to get hurt. |

Hey, with a name like that, it has to be good!
Well, from what I hear, being an EMT is a stressful job, very rushed and and you need to be prepared to respond in and instant with 100% presicion.
Plus, it is a medical profession, so it'll be bloody, and you are practically working with death. But if you get car sick, airsick, motionsick, faint at the sight of blood, or just plain want to play some more TFC during day time hours, this isn't the job for you.
However, it is a good profession, and people say that the 2 best parts of the job is the paycheck, and the good feeling that you get for saving lives.
It's a good job, I encourage you do it.
BTW, the girls like a guy who went to medical school.
But DON"T be a male nurse. |
