Alright I don't know how many of you like the NFL, so I thought I'd make a College Football thread. I'm love both equally. And I wanna know what teams you like and who you think will win the Rose Bowl this year. So I'll start it!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alright well I'm a huge Notre Dame fan. Runs in my family and I've always wanted to go there. I was pretty dissapointed with the USC-ND game last year, but I'll put that one behind me. Now I really think ND is a huge contender for the Rose Bowl this year. Brady Quinn is also gonna be a huge Heismann Trophy candidate. He's got the talent. Darius Walker is a great RB, especially for how small he is. Samarzja (sp?) is a great receiver and I like what he does in the clutch. I'm gonna admit, their defense isn't great, so we'll have to get their with our offense! GO IRISH! |

Yeah I agree with you, USC won't do any significant "damage" to the top teams. Texas is going to be almost as good as last year, losing Vince was a huge blow, but everyone else who was a huge factor is returning for the most part. |

Yeah I was watching a bit of that the other day, but then turned it off because they expected Notre Dame to lose to Michigan IN South Bend.
As for Iowa, I'm not too familiar with their team, but based on what I know they're at least top 20. |

That's like saying Gonzaga is going to get a football team this year and win the Rose Bowl. It won't happen. |

Lots of expert types finally seeing how GaTech is riding the Regie Ball rollercoaster .... Maybe we'll have a 4th year quaterback, maybe we'll have the douche we've had the other 3 years. At least we got a reciever that can catch balls poorly thrown. I'm not saying Rose Bowl material, just big improvments over last few years is a big potential, and we are slated to smash Notre Dame our first game, and UGA our last game. |

To answer that question Aud.
No. Unless you are of course USC or UCLA. |
