Wait... I think I might be able to save this thread... Well probably not, but anyways...
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder just as theres no proof that the color I see in the sky is the same as what anyone else sees. To argue that point is as useless as trying to teach a fish from Indonesia to climb pine trees in New York. Hormones happen and aesthetics are a personal matter.
To say "this person only caught your eye because..." not only puts words in someones mouth its a way of comparing yourself to someone as if they are somehow better. This is also useless cause all that accomplishes is making yourself feel bad. Its like taking the defensive position before an offense has even formed. IMO, you shouldnt do that to yourself especiallly for the reason of my final statement mentioned below. Personally I'm a big fan of the cliches about inner beauty as well as external, which I dont think I need to elaborate on here.
Finally, for my closing statment. This is spawning from MySpace, how seriously do we really wanna be taking any of this, anyway?   |

Actually my argument was almost the exact opposite and aimed more at the reactions of the ladies than the gents in the thread....
