Yeah it's out. Pretty good IMO, basically its futuristic combat. It's set in the year 2142 (duh) where another ice age has happened and all the remaining nations fight for fertile land.
It has the old fashioned conquest style (capture flag points and get the enemy's ticket to zero) and a new gametype called titan mode. Basically you capture missle silos which attack the enemy's titan (a huge flying vessel). When the shield is down you can either wait for the rockets to eventually destroy the titan or you could go into the titan and destroy the reactor, and win of course.
Has a ranking system. If you've played BF2 go to http://battlefield.ea.com/veterans and sign up your name to get veteran status and an unlock. |

This game also ships with a very handy program that tracks your browsing history and uses that to determine what in-game ads to display!
Spyware and a BF2 mod, all for only $50! |

A handful of other (non EA) games uses this also..
Yes it sucks but pretty soon alot of games will be using this. Not just EA.
Adverts suck, but this is gonna be the evolution of gaming, like it or not. |

I don't care about the adverts, it's the extra program tracking my browsing history I don't care about. I don't even care if EA knows how long I looked at the Ford billboard in game. |

Does that really matter? Wow IP address and anonymous data. Cookies do the same thing also. |

Yah
But SB would get nothing but pr0n ads
Even in his copy of Elmo's Adventure to Dreamland.
But BF2142 is pretty cool
Though, the veteran program screwed me up
I got the defibrulator, but I was never able to spawn with it in my Assault inventory. Oh well.
It's Battlefield and the future, two of my favorite topics.
if anyone wants to find me
I'm starshootr. |

You have to select the defibrilator in the customization. |

Yah, it's amazing
Teenage Interns with Zero Knowledge actually helped me.
Actually, I got lucky, and got one of the senior employees to help.
Punkbuster had a glitch, kept on kicking me
Just had to update manually. |
