Well, yea, I uh kinda saw the midnight release of it.

Greatest movie of the year without a doubt; hands down, case closed, no contest, period, go die in a fire if you think otherwise. Also one of the greatest films in movie history, that goes without saying.

Ok, seriously though. It's that damn good. The pace of the film keeps you going, never making you feel bored throughout it ever. There are obviously some slow parts, but not boredom slow. The action is just ****ing awesome. There are parts where they just keep going and going and going; while having Unreal Tournament amounts of blood and gore (or more), and still you never think it was over the top since the way that it was filmed, you just keep hoping that it wont end. There's a shitload of sexuality in there too; but this is to be expected from Europeans during the early years of the B.C.. Oh, and that artistic style they gave the cinematography in the post-production added so much feeling to it. It's done just right.

I had to revise my top 10 list for this movie.

5/5, 100%, A+ w/ extra credit, 10/10, etc.

i had planned for a while to see it today in an IMAX theatre nearby cuz IMAX only plays movies there for like the first day... but my friend's concert was set for tonight so im goin to that.

i cant %*(^%%(&*%^$*^%(&%^)&* wait to see it tomorrow tho, i been waitin months for this movie

I'm going to see this today. I will edit my post and do my own take on the movie. I'm pretty excited to go see it actually.

yeah i really want to see this too. usually when hollywood takes a historical event and throws its hollywood spin on it it kinda irritates me sometimes, but this looks good enough that i dont even care this time.

^^ to be fair it's hollywood's take on a graphic novel insired by a historic event

It was a great movie(I just got back from seeing it), and just completely awesome battle scenes, but my damn mind didn't help but notice the lack of accurate clothes as well as spartans wearing shoes, but that by no means stopped the goodness of the movie, and I couldn't help noticing it damn mind. Great movie though.

there are always inconsistancies like that... but it sure looks like a good movie. i really have NO clue whats coming out in the movie world until i see someone make a thread like this... but i just checked and the story of thermopoly should make a great movie...

Great movie, although i definetly thought Xerces was quite the homo. Everyone should go see this movie.
