Wow. Ok as far as F goes.. I didnt read that when I first posted..
Dont F*** everything. Someone out there somewhere has something and is spreading it without knowing and unless your a rabbit that has to bone everything you see, you should choose wisely cause even some of the pretty chicks might have something.
As far as the army goes, I have no comment. |

It used to be our "Home Guard". According to the constitution, we can't deploy the army on our own soil (unless we're under attack) so thats what its for. Recently, National Guard units have been deployed to Iraq.

The National Guard is the army, it's like part-time job. The Air National Guard is basically the same thing, only Air Force. |

Thats basically what I meant.
Except Australia's reserve forces can't be sent overseas. They can only be used if we were attacked and only then could they be used to defend the country and not be deployed in forward defence. |

National Guard = 1 weekend a month, 2 weeks a year.
Usually, in most states, 100% tuition for college, and then some because of the MGI Bill (which is 300 or so a month) and MGI Bill Kicker (which is an extra 250 on top of that IF you qualify) Most bonuses range from 5,000 to 20,000...
Army cannot deploy on home soil (I cannot remember what article it is in the consitution) thus why we have the National Guard.
If you need money and want to go to college for basically free (you hvae to pay for books and room and board, but damn...700+ a month for only 2 days of work???) then join the guard. |

My friend just joined the navy as a doctor.
They're going to pay for all of his tuition, pay him about 20,000 a year to study the course and then afterwards place him in hospitals to do his residancy.
When he actually goes in the navy he will be a fully qualifies officer earning around 80,000 a year and only has to stay with them for the term of his education.
THATS a good deal. |

See, we cant spend that much on the people in the military.
I was an E4 living off post but getting more money to live off post than an O3 (officer)...They got paid more than me but in the long run, it was easier fo rme to get a home.
80,000 though? That's crazy... I think that's Army Ranger sign up bonus. |

Doctors dont get shiiiiiat. They'd make more money in the outside world than in the military. And if you mean that the 80,000 was for a Doctor...then i was saying it's equivalent to a Ranger s-u bonus.
And in the converting sense, it's probably 65,000 US. |
