well its actually quite simple g no need for detailed instructions lol. might as well post it here so anyone who might have this question can see the answer.
whenever you download crosshairs, whether it be a pak with every class crosshair in one file or individual weapon crosshairs(a pak with all of them will simply be named crosshairs.spr, and individual ones will be named like rpg.spr, pl.spr, etc. They will also come with a txt file like tf_weapon_rpg that you also place in the sprites folder, the txt is very important), you simply put the file in your tfc/sprites folder.
if you find a pak file for all the classes but you dont like all of the crosshairs in it and want to use some others also. first put the all-classes file(crosshairs.spr) in your sprite folder first. then put in the individual weapon crosshair files(rpg.spr) you want in there and the individual ones will override the one pak file for those particular weapons.
im sure i might have missed some finer points but for the most part that is all you gotta do. |

Yeah CC, I'm going to take advantage of the tutorial myself when I get home. I've always wanted to make some crosshairs larger, but never knew how to do it. |

Funny, but I've never mod'd TFC. Before I got to my current 1337 level in my career I was all wrapped up in pulling applications apart, building packages for application pushers like Intel LanDesk (way back when Intel still owned it, do NOT ask me how long ago that was). When I get here, I think about reload scripts, jump scripts, changing crosshair files, etc. - I know it won't take long and all - but I don't even wanna spend the time to know. Am I a lazy pile of poop, or am I just looking for an excuse as to why I Shuck so bad sometimes??
matanui1488 made it sound REALLY simple however. Maybe I"ll have to spend some time I don't have and mess around a bit.
Hey, thanks for the info BTW.
