Anyone watch Futurama? The episode "Jurassic Bark."
Here's a link to the end of the episode:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akf-H0OVpLA
It was based on a true story:
Quote: |
In 1924, Hachikō was brought to Tokyo by his owner, Hidesamurō Ueno, a professor in the agriculture department at the University of Tokyo. During his owner's life, Hachikō saw him off from the front door and greeted him at the end of the day at the nearby Shibuya Station. Even after Ueno's death in May 1925, Hachikō returned every day to the station to wait for him, and did so for the next 10 years.
Hachikō died on March 8, 1935, of filariasis. |

I still think the episode Luck of the Fryish is sadder than Jurassic Bark, and maybe even The Sting. |

I think I agree, and maybe even Time keeps on Slippin'
Actually. I disagree Aud, Luck of the Fryrish is pretty sad, but atleast Yancy moved on and lived his life. That poor dog did nothing but wait, that little monolog at the the end showing him get older and older was totally sad. And in the Sting it doesn't really end sad, and Luck of the Fryrish is more of a "aw he really cared the whole time" sad, but Jurassic Bark and Time keeps on Slippin' it's totally a "oh poor dog/fry I can't believe that happened" sad. It might just be me though. |

yeah luck of the fryish and the sting aren't sad in a "aww bad things happened" way just in a... touching and moving way like "aww they really cared" and i guess i prefer the latter but they are all great episodes, and really the only futurama episode I don't like very much is Obsoletely Fabulous and to a lesser extent, That's Lobstertainment!

First off, posting this on forums for a video game is kind of redundant. And second, Futurama rocks, totally something to be nerdy about. I think one of my favorite(if not my absolute favorite) episodes is The Devil's hands are Idol Play Things, that one's so great. Oh man, they're all so great! I so can't wait til December!!! |
