i dunno i think the thing that set me off was when those slave/bondage strapped pants starting popping up everywhere and none of these kids even knew what it was for.. you shouldnt wear bondage apparel unless you're mature enough to even understand what it is... i got the spikes and things and yes i buy them at Hot Topic because i live in the middle of nowhere and its my only source.. but i still have a deep set hatred of that place because it markets things tha, in my humble opinion, preteen and young teens shouldnt even be thinking about.. what a twisted world we live in.. anyways this is ocd's thread so im done bantering now.. lol |

Yeah, I only wear the jewelery of it; all the apparel they have there is soo freakin' expensive. At least they don't stock ball gags and leather zippy masks and those chest-strap things with the ring in the center. Anyway yeah, drumming is so fun, I just wish I had a lick of rhythm. |

He he....
I relate to the Hot Topic talk, but I've found that as I've gotten older I've sort of become an old man about that stuff....I sort of wear what the hell I want now, what I need to be comfy or useful at the time, and go to hell if you don't like it.
Chips, and some of the other wiser gentlemen here (notice I didn't say old!!) back me up on this, but I think the best part about getting older so far is not caring about stupid crap as much, and being able to focus on the important stuff. And I haven't even gotten married or had kids yet!!
That being said, nothing is more annoying than the Hot Topic kids. Or as we called them, "Mallrats". |

well, I guess I better weigh in here...
first off im 30, and i used to bounce and play at a club called NICK's FAT CITY in the south side of pittsburgh. I worked the PYGMY LOVE CIRCUS show. I hung out with the gang, but also helped DANNEY CARREY tear down his drumset, and party til 6am that morning. So gimme street cred for what i do, not what i wear. Besides, i bought that shirt at a cd shoppe, right there in the south side.
I'm more of a R U S H fan, anyway. TOOL7001 is cool, but rush rawx.lol
eat drink and be merry...

well, at one time i had five holes in my left ear, but two have cloed. i also have a couple tatts, a "normal sinus rhythm" heartbeat around my left arm. this band is dedicated to my father, may he rest in peace. my right shoulder has a pic from the rush 'counterparts' cd, nut and bolt. as my good friend jay-to-the-sun says... you'll always have a first tattoo, never a last.

I feel ya on the tattoos my friend. I will still be getting inked up when i am 80 years old, that is if i have any room left by then.
And I feel ya on the tounge piercing as well. i had mine done and had it for about 3 years when I got into a bad car accident and almost bit my toung completly off so they had to remove the stud to sew my toung back on. Then after it healed i just never got it redone. Eh.
