http://q4f.net/index.php?display=Home You can download a video off this site to see what quake 4 fortress looked like around the end of 2006. The website doesn't have any real updates since then but the forum said something about testing for the game has reopened and that was posted two days ago so it must still be alive.
Anyway my impressions of the game, based on the video was that it's much faster paced and seems to take less strategy than ff, but it looks as though bunnyhopping is included, as are all the other standards. It looks a lot more like quake4 online than team fortress, but I saw someone putting up a sentry at one point, and I've played the map they were on in tfc, so maybe I'm just not used to it because it's quake and not half life.
Impressions anyone? |

It's like if TFC and Doom3 had a kid.
I wonder if it'll become popular, or will become over-faded by FF and TF2.
Only Time will tell. |
