Part of his explanation to me in a direct e-mail.
Seems to me a true hacker would turn it on, and leave it on. Turning it on and off like that so many times in one session wouldn't make much sense would it.

You'd think he'd realize that a hack was turning on. I also find it questionable that he used it on one more than one server (and more than once) if all he was doing is seeing how it works. I understood how different wallhacks work simply by watching 5 minutes of demo on the old Sparky's (which had a built-in wallhack for watching demos).
Heh, one of the people banned on that list used it in a match against my clan and we still beat them 13-1. |

A hack I checked out once had anit-conc. When it was activated, you had no visual notice of this...and you only noticed it was on if you were conced.
Perhaps that's what happened. 
Turning it on and off so many times in a short period of play...just doens't make much sense either. I understand your points...and they are valid.
I'm willing to give the "benefit of a doubt" approach to someone I've always felt was sincere with me. If you knew him as well as I do, perhaps you'd do the same. |

He didn't believe he'd get much support and would have to tolerate being flammed eternally...can't say I blame him. I probably wouldn't want to face that either.
He was on the server with us a couple of night ago and those that were there treated him well...hopefully, time heals all wounds. |
