guess what..i started working at a Polish Delicatessen here in NJ called Golden Eagle..boss kicked me out for having facial hair and long hair.  discrimination
i plan a strike, come all my facial hair, and long hair friend 
so funny well he told me if i don't look the way he wants me to look IE cut my hair and shave he dose not want me to come.
lol remember this DONT EVER WORK FOR A POLISH PERSON! |

| Its called a professional appearance, I don't go to some stores just because of the people. Why should he continue to employ you when you can be losing him profit? |

If you had a proper written contact with this employer one of the stipulations would have been dress code. You ahve to remember that you're representing his business too, so if people see someone who isn't well groomed or doens't take care of their appearance what are they going to think about the hygene standards? Or of how the owner values the company and how it is portrayed.
The only time it would be discrimination would be if the facial hair was grown in lieu or in accordance to a religious event etc. |

Take this example, there have been people who have called 911, and a medic showed up that didn't look professional, and even though he would've helped the patient to the best of his abilities he just didn't look professional, and the patient asked for another medic to treat them. |

Take this example he has a full employee base of illegal immigrants and underage kids..no contracts just off the books work. He takes advantage of people that work there like crazy.
and i do have a pro appearance lol   |
