i put up my server for a as a small practice server per the request fo chi and aud

i cant get on i keep getting kicked off first it was a fatal errror message window saying some .mdl was set to 324234 instead of 30 and than i tried something and while connecting to server i get a message saying cannot connect to server Sad

yup same problem Dragon....says ur model/feather .mdl blah blah blah (55758_____ should be 30)...i dno Bad Idea

omg, now i cant get into any server???wtf..should i put my models back 2 default?

ok heres the FATAL ERROR i got

Mod_LoadBrushModel: models/feather.mdl has wrong version number (557582831 should be 30)

ok..i said what the hey, lets try to get on antoher server...jus shut down TFC, so i said screw it, lets reset the dam models...and hey its worked

was so glad and went 2 the main server...and woohoo DONT WORK, same dam FATAL ERROR Mad

Just delete the "models/feather.mdl" and rejoin the server...that should fix it. Good Idea

but OmG...i thought it was w/ models so i set it back to the old models...how do i get mine 2 work again?? like i see the folder there in but hmmmhmm

yea i did that, but i get the new version, not the cartoon 1's i d/l-ed...also my weapon models r gone Mad

...but jus models..not sprited...so may-b i deleted something bad like the models folder Question

mmmm EDIT : all of my models r gone, but i still see my players models...but they arent in the steamapps/teamfortressclassic/waddlingduk/tfc/models folder,,,but they never have been, they had their own folder outside the Valve folder?dam i had some good weapon and other stuff models

Are you sure you deleted them and not just moved them?
For your player models...there should be a folder called "player" under your models folder. In your player folder...you should have a folder for each class and the model file in them.

Look in your recycle bin to see if you did delete them...it may be possible to restore them to their previous location.
