I have an acoustic guitar that isn't anything special, and I can't play a full song on it. Although my favorite thing to play on it is the basic part of 25 or 6 to 4 |

I dont actually own a guitar anymore (I sold my old one) But I do have access to my buddies when ever I want to play. He is also teaching me to play both regular giutar and bass. He also just bought an electric drum set that cost him like 1k or some thing crazy. I try to play that but the foot work part is a pain in the arse. He also has set up in his room basicly a whole recording studio. He has a mixer that runs into his comp and has it all set up in Pro Tools. We have recorded a few songs already. I usually do the vocals beacuse that is what i am good at. I used to be a singer in a punk/hardcore band for about 5 years.
have been thinking of recording an some what traditional Irish album with me playing all the parts but i have to learn to play the tin whistle and banjo to get that traditional feel.
oh yea his guitars are A blue Parker
http://www.parkerguitars.com/code/models/models_fly.asp some thing like that but blue.
and he has a blacksunburst Gibson Sg (that I kinda dropped once and put a crack in the finish doh.wav)his fault for not having strap locks on it.
and he has an electric acustic as well brand i forget maybe a yamaha? |

I've been playing guitar for 31 years now...
I still have my very first "new" guitar that I bought back in '77. A black Ibanez Les Paul copy. This copy is so good...Les Paul sued them to stop making it. You won't find that many of these around. I also have a no-name bass guitar from the same time period...it ain't that good, but it gets the job done. I use it just to fill in on recordings.
My more recent collection includes a 2000 Fender Stratocaster, a 2002 Ibanez acoustic and a 2004 Washburn "Delta King" hollow body. This is the guitar I leave out on a stand so I can just grab it and play when the mood hits me. So, 5 guitars in all...one electric bass, one acoustic guitar and three electric guitars.
I'll post some pics when my vision clears up a bit more and I can find them. |

I have a shitty ass college acoustic guitar. The strings are kinda rusted, except for the high E. The brand name was erroded off. 5 strings are brass, 1 string is steel... i think.
I've been playing for 5 years. My cousin has been playing for 5 years with the same guitar, (though we have like 4), and he already made some friends that know dave matthews songs and he's going down to Florida with a gig.
weird. |

I don’t remember if it was a telecaster or a stratocaster
But I do remember that it had a heart of chrome, and a voice like a horny angel

*Droolz* they've had one of those in the window of my guitar store for so long.... i bought my Jazz Bass at an insane $245, and was hoping to buy that as well, but i needed a bass amp. i was in a garage band, but we split due to the lead guitar leaving. noone else can play lead as good as he. |
