i have a decent pc setup, not the best
all is fine except for my motherboard(i think)
MSI KT4V-L : is what i have, bought if off of newegg..but apparently they stopped carrying it because i cant find it, anyways
if you ever plan on buying this board, don't
loose ram slots, a pain in the neck, random restarts, freezing, etc.
^all happened to my pos pc, which isnt a pos
Motherboard: MSI KT4V-L
CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2500+ at 1.88 GHz
RAM: 1.5 GB, DDR 333MHz, CAS 2.5
HDD: 120 GB, 7200 RPM, ATA 133
CDROM: Lite-On 16x DVD 48x24x48 CDRW
Video: Radeon 9800 Pro 128 MB on 8x AGP
Power Supply: 500? watt
OS: MS Windows XP Home
would anybody be able to explain, if it is not my mom-board, what is my restart/freezing problem? |

For random restarts, turn off the option for Windows to automatically restart on system failure. If things keep happening, instead of a restart you'll get a BSOD and will be able to diagnose the issue. If it's not this it might be some sort of voltage issue. If you're looking to replace the mobo, I HIGHLY reccomend the ASUS A8N-SLI. |

i know its not a voltage problem, cuz i replaced my 420watt power supply with a 500?, or 475 or sumthin in that area
disabled auto restart so, just gotta wait now tahnks |
