this weekend my friend Eddie came from out of town to chill for the weekend. My buddy; who had not played a PC game since 1986 "Oregon Trail" on a apple IIe, totally got hooked on TFC. Yesterday he bought his first real PC just to play with ya'll. I hope you don't mind the stink of a new "DOG." (He has puppy breath fo-sho.) As soon as he gets CABLE.... ill have him register with you. Eddies a good guy, and try to kill him nice.
Thanks.... |

Man we should send this post to Steam. Maybe they will see that people still get hooked on TFc and still play and will decide to work on TF2!.
Glad to see your buddy is getting into the game Bent. Now you can kill him and give him a good ribbing at the same time. |

This server seems to go against the grain by still expanding its amount of regulars, unlike other servers which seem to disappear |

I'm hoping that Valve never picks up another fortress project ever again... they can go to hell for basically shelving TFC and leaving it to die.
Fortress Forever will be the savior. |

Though it sounds kind of haynas (however you spell it), Mr. RS is actually right. Think of it this way.
Valve is a BIG company supported by Hundreds of people, employees and third party alike. They're all interested in HL2 and CS:S and it's various other mods. Why? Because they're the ones that are making the most money. TFC is barely raking in any cash. TFC isn't getting much out of it's profits, while HL2 is SERIOUSLY swimming in it. A single thing like this, all user created, isn't even going to interest a Big Buisness, even if it is positive. Hell, for all we know, TFC2 has probably been delayed, indefinitely. Valve must think that TFC players aren't worth it, so why try? We're getting off lucky by the fact that they haven't shut down the TFC servers. Fortress Forever is probably the best, if not only, hope for a new version of good old TFC. Count your blessings guys, we're being controlled by big buisness. |

Are Robin Walker and John Cook still employees of Valve any more?
Since they have all but given up on TF2. |
