For my government class, we were told to come up with a public opinion poll on any kind of issues we wanted. My group chose foreign policy. All you have to do is copy paste the form below and underline/bold your answers.

Just a few things before you start. Please dont critique our survey, we know its not perfect, its just going to make it harder for me to get the data. We have alot of kids around my age group, so if some of the older folks around here (Chips/Toughie) could fill these out that would really help make the poll group much more diverse.

The outsourcing issue really isn't as much of a problem as people make it out to be. The thing is, yes, american companies constantly outsource work from america to other countries, but it is making life in america, and it is making life for those people who get those jobs, a whole lot easier. Let's say an indian IT worker wants to apply for a work visa in states, only hundreds apply, and very few get accepted. They find a story that works best, and everyone comes in and tries the same story in hopes that they will get a work visa, but probably won't. Let's also say an Indian couple wants to get work visas together to live and work in the US. They have to apply seperately, and may or may not get the same type of work visa as his or her partner. This means that they will be kicked out of the country before their partner, which pretty much spoils their plans of coming to America.
All of that having been said, we as a country have simplified the world in a lot of ways, by taking hundreds upon hundreds of jobs that were already going to be taken by foreign workers, we have allowed them to work from home, or in an appropriated office, in their own country, and still do the same exact job they would be doing in the states. The American company pays for the services of the employee, and the company makes more money, and becomes massively more efficient. Bottom line: Outsourcing is a fantastic way to make America a more efficient country. Efficient in every facet of business.
Almost all of our middle east endeavors, in my opinion, are in long-run worthless. Let the middle east do what they've been doing for eons, kill eachother. Why the **** should America try to play peacemaker when that area of the world has been battling between something since practically the beginning of time. I say let's just sit back and watch them **** everything up, because we sure as hell have no idea how to solve their issues. Kim Jong Il is one crazy bastard if you ask me, and I don't think we need to be pissing off a loose cannon with one of the biggest military presences in the world, same goes for Iran. Furthermore, this administration is a prime example of how ****ed up politics are. When you appoint your friends, and don't do a good job doing anything, not even telling the truth, you have to let yourself know every once in a while that you suck at life, and this administration sucks really hard at life.

Iraq was a bad idea simply because it was built all on lies. Also, its turning into another VietNam, where our soldiers are playing politics instead of simply leveling the areas where the insurgents are. I said I agree with us staying there simply because, we made our bed, now we need to stay until the time for Iraq can gorvern themselves, and surely they arent ready for that yet. If we went to war with Iran, Id only support it if they both were able to make their mukes that they want, and they show a clear threat to a neighboring country, or our own......then I say, turn it in to a parking lot. Very Happy
