I think its the best videogame adapttaion movie I've seen thus far. It was very twisted. It really wasnt the JUMPY type scary movie, more just the try to distrub you type. The scene with the burning children...omg! It was very true to the game, as far as changing the names of some characters I dunno (wait for the DVD and they might explain). it was so true to the game that at certain times the camera angles that were used in the film are like those of the game play with the birds eye view and panning to the side that I almost felt like I wanted to pick up a controller and direct Rose's movements. I did like the fact that they used the music from the games, because anything else would not be Silent Hill. The ambiance of the town and everything with it including the music needs to be there or then it just becomes an inspiration from Silent Hill. You should give it a try. oh and I Think Pyramid Head should have been in more scenes but whatever he was still badass!!!

Some of my buddies have seen it and they loved it, and from what i've seen (previews, interviews, etc), they've really kept to the games quite well. I think it's the "disturbing" factor that would get to me. Seeing a person's skin ripped off by pyramidhead will make me shudder, just like it did when they did it in Hellraiser: Bloodline.

my friend told me today i have to see it, that its 'sexy'(ok so she's a little wierd). anyway alot of my friends have talked about this game/series for a while, and they all loved the movie, so i hope to see it soon(damn work...)

I LOVE IT,THEY REALLY DID A GOOD JOB WITH STORY LINE TO THE MOVIE AND DETAIL IS PERFECTLY MASTER. IT BETTER THAN THE RESIDENT EVIL MOVIE.

I've heard mixed views on this movie critics hated it friends said that they love it I might see it

I'm a HUGE fan of the game series...I still get the creeps thinking about the first times I played them. I doubt I'll take my kids to see this as they're prolly a little too young for it and I'll more than likely wait for the DVD...which if I'm lucky, will be out by summer. Good Idea

okay im sure that i ve told you before that my mom actually plays video games! Yes Video Games people like Silent Hill 1-4 and Splinter Cell series and even another one called Syphon Filter which she pwns in all of them.

But i am sure she will drag me off to go see it.

I think the plot would be better if it would be Monster Man kicking Bonsai in the nuts because that sentence is what all people say.

I'll probably see this, but I'm REALLY looking forward to the Metal Gear Solid movie coming up. The games are cinematic masterpieces as they are, so an actual movie will pwn.

Also, Clerks 2 and Snakes on a Plane. (Which come out on the same day Sad
