Yeah, well I didn't read any other sections before this. And I also didn't check my email for 3 days. |

Biggest reason why FF is better.
FF is 100% free. TF2 isn't. 'nuf said. |

CAN we delete this thread?
We've already got one like it
And TF2 will make us look bad.
VERY BAD. |

You got HL2 for free? That's cool, cause I didn't. |

Fortress Forever will most definately enter beta in a few months (read the dev journals) with a release not too far off, probably late this year. From what I can tell, they're just fine tuning and polishing up everything, wth the exception of needed models and training module.
Team Fortress 2, comes free with Half-Life 2: Episode 2, which most likely won't be released till late this year/early next year, like Fortress Forever. I'll be getting HL2:EP2, and I'll be trying out TF2.
By the way...
...that's in-game.

Team Fortress 2 and Portal will be included with all retail and Steam versions of Episode Two for the PC. In addition, these products plus Half-Life 2 and Episode One will be available in one tremendous offering for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. New videos from Episode Two, Portal, and Team Fortress 2 will be released next week. |

Anshin is right, FF WILL be released. The dev's of FF however are not going to make the mistake many 3rd party devs do however: they do not plan to release FF to the entire community before most of the bugs have been delt with. To do a mass public release before the game is truly ready can cause a game's base to collapse. Players will often try out a game, and if its too buggy the first weekend or so of play, won't often come back. |

Those models are great. Though some characters look to be lacking signifigant team color. Huge HW guy. Evil pyro. 007 spy. WW2 Soldier. |
