i watched mears avi, dunno if u guys have seen it, and i saw some really cool models for holding the flag, woonder if there are sites still around dedicated to customizing tfc?>?

what do u guys use? all standard models?

If by flag icons then that is part of your HUD I belive. There are a few links on the main page to some customizing sites that offer models and other things for TFC. I dont know if its mers avi but i do know that some people take out the flag icons and use a photo pragram to include one that they like but cant use in the game due to the colors and what not. I also know that some people when making AVI's add explosions and rocket flairs and other things that werent there for added effect. Some one else might have some more imput on this.

Just about everything in my game is custom, from models and sprites to sounds. There are some other threads about modding that can be found here in the forums. Cool

after customizing TFC... default looks HORRIBLE

I still use Standard, with the exception of my Spanner, AC, and Sniper Rifle (my bestest buddy)

now the FIRST models, THOSE were horrible.

most of them say how... but its normally just putting them in your C:/programfiles/steam/steamapps/yoursteamaccnamehere/team fortress classic/tfc
folder
from there... /sprites or /models should do it

I actually have two model and sprite folders. One is pure default, the other has all my customizations. I just switch back and forth between them. Wink

I've even reskinned alot of my models...not very hard to do. My packs, armor and dispenser all have our tag on them. There's even a tag on the back of my fatty. Cool
