Just noticed Microsoft have finally released a service pack 2 on the server 2003 platform. That's all editions of Windows Server 2003 [x86, x64, and ia64], and Windows XP Professional x64 edition.
There's plenty of details about the service pack at http://www.microsoft.com/technet/windowsserver/sp2/overview.mspx
Most noticeable parts are WPA2 support, Microsoft Management Console 3.0, and firewall on a per port basis. Seems to be mostly back end fixes, nothing too exciting anyway worth getting.
Plenty of download options (including the large network install file) available at http://www.microsoft.com/technet/windowsserver/sp2.mspx
Yes I know that article is from Nov 2006, but I've not come across anyone else who knew about it. |
