Is anyone from here going, if so when?

i never bothered with getting the free tickets Sad

probably would have gone to see Nile and such but oh well.

There's a local show anyway with Hatebreed (meh), Lamb of God (maaayyybbeee), Behemoth (hell yeah), and 3 Inches of Blood (woooooooooooo). I might be going to that one.

wow, hatebreed and lamb were just here a few nights ago. they get around fast!

doh, if you come to PA aud, i got 6 tickets, 3 are not being used atm or maybe anyone in pa/nj area :p

im excited for chthonic, static, behemoth, nile, log, lordi, daath :>

nothing to do with ozzfest

I was never a big fan of Ozzfest. Due to the fact that they make alot of the unknown bands fork over crazy amounts of cash just to play and that doesnt include money to pay for touring supplies and others stuff involved. My buddy is actually roadie/tour assistant for Hatebreed and he tells me all types of stories which turns my stomach. Commercialism really kills things for me and this is no exception.

I will however be going to The Warped Tour this year to hang/support my friend and his band. Pro skater Mike Vallely and his band Revolution Mother. Im not sure if my schedual will let me but I have an open invitation to hang out on the three closest East Coast shows that are near me. So NJ might be one of them. Ill keep you updated. Very Happy

i also don't want to give money to ozzfest because i absolutely hate sharon osbourne and how ozzfest treated iron maiden a couple years ago

i never been there, but some of my friends went there a couple yrs ago and i kno some people that went and they basically say the same s**t u guys said...unless chevelle is the main band/headlining there or 1 of my other favorite bands is playin, i'll prolly never go.

Don't accept the mainstream, especially when it comes to metal in America. We don't have the balls to come out with consistently good metal bands, its almost all europe. American metal bands have a tendancy to try way too hard, I mean I get the concept (capitalist economy) I just don't agree.

well if i could fly to spain, germany, rome for a concert every time i saw something good, i wouldnt be going to ozzfest

Ozzfest is free, that's cool.

That means everybody who can show up can get in.

"I'm gunna see Ozzy man! For free!! YEEAAAHHH!"

No thanks.

Going to Family Values though... girlfriend wants to see Evanescence and Korn will be worth $10 just for the childhood memories lol.
