OK...

If you want to do this we need to get organized pretty quick, 'cause the con's coming up at the end of August.

Firstly, go here: http://www.animefest.org/
You can get all the info you'll ever need about the con there...buy tickets, pre-reg. All that good stuff.

Secondly, I wish I could say I had a place for you people to stay...I'm currently homeless (as I often am), but closer to the con I should have an apartment so I'll keep you all posted. If I manage to find an apartment, anyone can stay at my place...but you should probably make sure you can arrange some other place to stay just in case.

Thirdly, who's going as what and are we doing new, old, tf2, or ff models? Also, can you make your own? Or do you need someone else to do it for you? I know Snape Sensai had mentioned that she can work on some...I can as well, but I don't have a lot of time. So I could maybe only throw together one or two.

Fourthly, ... I can't really think of anything else. So, post away. We'll figure this thing out.

If I go, I'll still have to double check what's happening then, I'll be as an HW, new model. Oh, and I couldn't do much for making my outfit, I'd have to have someone else do it.

Well, I already have an old model medic (RED TEAM FTW!!!) costume so I would probably go as that again. Although, the time of the con might be an actual problem for me... I'm still willing to help people out with costumes, though Very Happy

Since we're calling classes, I call HW, either team, new model.

If this weren't in Dallas and a week after school starts, I'd totally go as a blue sniper, new models. All I need to do is paint a ghille suit, add some blue, and make a fake rifle with a laser pointer inside.

Psshhh...arrested shmarested.

So long as we don't actually hit con-goers, we'll get a warning or two to quit running around. One year a friend and I went as really good "hotel ninjas" (we researched the con-site and made costumes to blend in with the walls and furniture), we got away with throwing paper throwing stars at random people for a whole day before we were threatened with eviction.

I'm really not sure how feasible playing a game of CTF in the middle of the con would be. If security doesn't stop it before anything good happens, some losers would probably just steal our flags.

If nothing else, just showing up as a TFC group would be really fun. Especially getting to meet some of you in person. I think we can behave enough to not get arrested.

A good game of TFC CTF in the con sounds good. Where's the battlements? I need a good sniping position. Twisted Evil

Oh theres a good sniping position...look up The Reunion Tower. The con is in the hotel with that tower.
