Yea it's for my introductions class to graphic deisgn. Because our BFA major is so small it's a competitive +learning class. I'm pulling around #7 out of 33. They accept 15 ONCE a year every fall. It's a five year major.

Thought about making a whole new thread, but I'll just link it here. I had to turn this in last week for my graphic design class. Well, one of them, I'm taking a butt load of courses right now. Anyways, its supposed to be "organic", and I named it Dance of the Orchid, for obvious reasons.
(make sure you view it in full size or it will look crappy)
Tell me what you think! I'm never happy with own work, but I happen to like how this one turned out. I tried to keep things simple and have the focus of the image be the flowers themselves, so hopefully thats what your eyes are drawn towards. Plus the feel of it seems very "organic" to me, I tried to use natural colors and keep all my lines fluid, ya know, nothing jagged or rough. We also have to do a project that will be "industrial", so its like a yin and yang thing, though I'm still in the VERY rough draft, semi-brainstorming phase. Hope you like it this one though! |

| the top 2 are ok kinda strenuous on the eyes and brain... the next 3 after that are very perfesional looking..the shield and powerfull ones remind me almost of a designer look for like fasion..maybe-ish the thulipop one is the one that cought me first. the bottum one almost seemed like too much at first glance. <3 ya lizzeh' |
