kb {
mode $chan +b $address( $1 ,3)
kick $chan $1-
}
tb {
mode $chan +b $address( $1 ,3)
kick $chan $1 $3- ( $+ $duration( $2 ) ban).
timer 1 $2 mode $chan -b $address( $1 ,3)
}
put this in your alias tab in mirc
syntax:
/kb <name> <reason>
/tb <name> <time in seconds> <reason>
300 seconds is 5 minutes, to give you an easy reference point |

Angry, I'm a Cisco Network Engineer and I know a Cisco Router Running config when I see one....
Why are you using EIGRP? I have 4 Cisco 2620XM routers at my company and we run OSPF, as well as my PIX515E's...
Just curious...
PS: Upgrade your IOS to the latest version for your router and service package. Mine run the 12.3(16) with IPPlus and 3DES |

Yeah, that is damn old IOS! That's just some old Remote Access type code I had handy. OSPF? Glutton for punishment, huh?
I'm in Sales, not engineering anymore, but I stay up by studying at least an hour a day. Have my CCNA and CCDA. IP Telephony lately, I have to get three more cert exams (CVOICE, CIPT, IPTD) done in six months. Just destroyed the QoS exam. Then back to finish my CCNP.
How long you been "engineering"? |

Been at it for 4 or 5 years (with just the Cisco stuff). I just re-newed my CCNA a few months ago. I am also a CCDA, CCSP (Security Professional), CWLS (Wireless Security Professional), CAAB (Advanced Wireless Bridging), CWSP (Cisco Wireless Solutions Provider), CSVPN (VPN Solutions Provider), and Cisco MPLS Traffic Routing Engineer. Also have the MCSE, MCSA, Network+, A+, Server+, and a few other Comptia certs. I need to get into the IP Telephony end of things too. I'm looking into the UCSAE (Cisco Unified Communications System Administration Engineer) to cover all the VoIP stuff. There are 30 labs, but 68 sub labs that go with the 30. Whew, thats gonna be alot of work....
Good luck with your IP Telephony stuff.... |

Damn, you've been busy! I find the toughest part is *Keeping* my certs, they run out every two or three years. Since the money is only in the latest, greatest, most recent certs.
I've been at this professionally since Windows 3.1. Had a CNE in NetWare 3 and a CNA in 4 + an NT 4.0 MSCE - all long since lapsed to hell.
Forgot the Cisco Wireless Field Engineer Cert.
Why do we do this to ourselves? |
